Er war der erste Herrscher, der den Titel Kaiser tragen durfte. Qin begr\u00fcndete die Qin-Dynastie und stand am Anfang der \u00c4ra der chinesischen Kaiserreiche. Er lebte vor \u00fcber 2200 Jahren und wurde nur 49 Jahre alt. Sein Staat fasste erstmals alle von Chinesen bewohnten Gebiete in einem Reich zusammen. Unter Kennern der chinesischen Geschichte ist die Qin-Dynastie als die Zeit der \u201eStreitenden Reiche\u201c bekannt. Beerdigt wurde er mitten in einer riesigen Sammlung asiatischer <a href=\"http:\/\/asia-wohnstudio.de\/Holzelefanten-Elefanten-aus-Holz:::8.html\">Skulpturen<\/a> \u2013 der Terrakotta Armee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Der Fundort liegt in der N\u00e4he der Provinzhauptstadt Xian, die den Figuren weltweit den Namen Xian-Krieger gab. Dort wurde im Jahr 1974 beim Bau eines Brunnens die Grabst\u00e4tte entdeckt. Beeindruckend ist neben dem hohen Alter der Funde auch die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Anlage. Knapp 40 Jahre nach ihrer Entdeckung konnte erst ein Viertel der Grabst\u00e4tte freigelegt werden. Fachleute vermuten, dass der Bau der Anlage 36 Jahre dauerte und auf der Baustelle ca. 700.000 Arbeiter besch\u00e4ftigt waren. Die Anlage umfasst eine Fl\u00e4che von 56 km\u00b2. Bisher wurden 7278 lebensgro\u00dfen Terrakotta-Krieger, 130 Kampfwagen aus Holz, fast 500 Pferde aus Terrakotta und zahlreiche weitere Beigaben aus Bronze gefunden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Ich bekomme nach diesen beeindruckenden Zahlen Lust, mir selber ein paar chinesische <a href=\"http:\/\/asia-wohnstudio.de\/Skulpturen-und-Statuen:::5.html\">Skulpturen<\/a> zuzulegen. Man kann sie ja in praktisch jedem Raum aufstellen und bei entsprechender Robustheit des Materials auch im Garten.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Die Terrakotta-Armee ist von der Zahl der Soldaten her durchaus vergleichbar mit einer echten Armee der damaligen Zeit. Die Krieger waren alle mit einer sch\u00fctzenden Glasur \u00fcberzogen, die sich jedoch innerhalb sehr kurzer Zeit nach den Ausgrabungen aufl\u00f6ste. Im Jahr 2004 haben deutsche und chinesische Wissenschaftler ein Verfahren entwickelt, mit dem die Glasur bei den vielen noch nicht ausgegrabenen Figuren erhalten werden kann.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Das eigentliche Grab des Kaisers Qin wurde bisher nicht entdeckt. Es gibt viele Grabh\u00fcgel, die nur geschaffen wurden, um Grabr\u00e4uber vom tats\u00e4chlichen Grab abzulenken.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In weltweiten Ausstellungen werden aus verst\u00e4ndlichen Gr\u00fcnden nur Nachbildungen gezeigt. Die Original Figuren kann man in China bewundern. Sie stehen im restaurierten Zustand am Original Fundort.
