Er kann eine beeindruckende H\u00f6he von bis zu 40 Metern erreichen. Eine astfreie Stamml\u00e4nge von 20 bis 25 Metern macht ihn zum idealen Lieferanten von Nutzholz. Da sein Holz grunds\u00e4tzlich sehr wertvoll ist, wird er auch au\u00dferhalb seines nat\u00fcrlichen Verbreitungsgebietes auf Plantagen angebaut. Es ist schon fast \u00fcberfl\u00fcssig zu erw\u00e4hnen, dass auch viele <a href=\"http:\/\/asia-wohnstudio.de\/Asiatische-Schraenke:::24.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Asiam\u00f6bel <\/a>aus dem Holz des Teakbaumes (Teakholz) gefertigt werden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Teakholz l\u00e4sst sich gut trocknen und verarbeiten. Aufgrund nat\u00fcrlicher \u00d6le, die sich im Holz befinden, bleibt es auch ohne spezielle Behandlung wetterfest. Es ist wasserabweisend und relativ schwer entflammbar. In Asien wird es auch heute noch im Schiffbau sowie zur Errichtung von Kaimauern und anderer Hafenanlagen verwendet. Es gibt auch Geb\u00e4ude, die komplett aus Teakholz errichtet wurden. Der Vinanmek-Palast in Bangkok z\u00e4hlt zu den gr\u00f6\u00dften aus diesem Material errichteten Geb\u00e4uden. Da sich Teakholz leicht bearbeiten l\u00e4sst, wird es auch gerne zum Schnitzen von Skulpturen und zur Herstellung anderer <a href=\"http:\/\/asia-wohnstudio.de\/Asiatische-Schraenke:::24.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">asiatischer Wohnaccessoires<\/a> genutzt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Da Teakholzm\u00f6bel sehr robust gegen\u00fcber Umwelt- und Wettereinfl\u00fcssen sind, ben\u00f6tigen sie theoretisch keine Reinigung. In der Praxis kommt es nat\u00fcrlich vor, dass \u00a0mal eine Tasse Kaffee auf einem Teakholztisch umkippt und der Zahn der Zeit geht auch an dieser Holzsorte nicht spurlos vor\u00fcber. Zum Reinigen gibt es daher spezielle Teakholzreinigungsmittel zu kaufen. Die wasserfeste Beschaffenheit von Teakholz erlaubt beim Reinigen durchaus die Verwendung von viel Wasser. Allerdings sollte man beachten, dass hierbei die nat\u00fcrlichen \u00d6le mit der Zeit ausgewaschen werden. Dies kann durch das gelegentliche Auftragen von speziellem Teak \u00d6l auf die Oberfl\u00e4che verhindert werden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Beim Kauf von asiatischen M\u00f6beln braucht man heutzutage kein schlechtes Gewissen wegen m\u00f6glicher Zerst\u00f6rung von Regenw\u00e4ldern mehr haben.
